Vintage botanical illustration of a red saraca tree (Saraca declinata) also known as 'sorrowless tree'.
The original drawing was made by Madame Berthe Hoola van Nooten for a 19th century book portraying exotic tropical flowers, fruits and plants from the island of Java. Digitally restored and cleaned.
