Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The Tower - Church tower with bells over the rooftops, 1920. Industrial landscapes, cityscapes and architectural paintings by American artist Charles Demuth (1883-1935).

The darkening and yellowing caused by the aging process was digitally removed from the paintings to restore the colors as close as possible to the original. Other aging marks - like hairline cracks typical of old oil-based paintings - were left untouched to keep the antique character of the printed images.
