Dale Nichols was an American regionalist painter and illustrator primarily known for his picturesque, nostalgic landscapes of rural houses, barns and farms of the American Midwest. He traveled a lot and painted more Alaskan landscapes and a number of exotic scenes after visiting Guatemala as well.
