The map shows mounted police stations & patrols throughout the North-West Territories, during the year 1888, also administrative boundaries, location of Indian reserves, detachments, forts, posts, and air and marine division bases, whisky forts, with the founding dates. Border with views and text of historic events presenting the history of the R.C.M.P. Includes numerous historical events and many of the officers involved are identified by name. The policemen and their mounts creating an infinity symbol, and 2 insets provides history of the ride. Includes a text presents the early situated in the Northwest United States recounts the formation of the N.W.M.P., and a second text along the U.S.- Canada border tells the story of the Sioux and their flight to w...
