Gone fishing - magical seascapes from the Seven Seas by illustrator and writer Moira Risen.
'I can’t exactly explain the title I gave this one - I just felt the phrase describes the ambiance of the image, and the cormorants leisurely chilling out on a fishing boat with no man on board somehow make it appropriate. For some reason, looking at them always makes me smile.
This image is one of the 12 pieces of my series titled Sailing Seven Seas, inspired by ancient legends, myths and tales about the ocean. '
