Dragons of the seas - The spirit of the pirate ship - magical seascapes from the Seven Seas by illustrator and writer Moira Risen

'...And then, trapped under the water and under the ruins of their futile battle for the golden treasures of the sunken island, the severely wounded dragon and the pirates made a deal. The dragon used the rest of his power to open an escape, and in return he could live on in a magical union with the ship of the pirates. From there on they sail the seas together, looking for new adventures and new islands...
