Vintage botanical illustration of a papaya tree (Carica papaya), also known as papaw.
The original drawing was made by Madame Berthe Hoola van Nooten for a 19th century book portraying exotic tropical flowers, fruits and plants from the island of Java. Digitally restored and cleaned.
